The 17th CPC National Congress will be convened in October in Beijing. Foreign journalists are welcome to register with the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( MFA ) before 9th Oct to cover the event.
Details for the application:
1. For foreign journalists accredited in Beijing and their Chinese assistants, please register at the Journalists Accreditation System on the IPC website ( http://ipc.fmprc.gov.cn ). Please confirm with the Information Department of MFA by fax, naming the journalists applying for accreditation.
2. For foreign journalists on temporary assignments in China, please register with the Information Department of MFA via local Chinese embassies, consulates or the Offices of the Commissioner of the MFA of the PRC in the Hong Kong SAR or Macau SAR, by presenting application letter provided by the relevant media.
3. The schedule of the CPC National Congress and the ways for collecting accreditation badges will be issued on the IPC website later.
