Mr. Chen Jinghua, a native of Fujian Province, China, was born in December 1950. Received university education.

 

1979-1980          Served as Staff Member, Department of American and Oceanian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the People's Republic of China

 

1980-1982          Engaged in advanced studies in the Columbia University, the United States of America

 

1982-1987          Served as Staff Member, Third Secretary, Second Secretary, Department of American and Oceanian Affairs, MFA

 

1987-1989          Served as Second Secretary, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago

 

1989-1992          Served as Second Secretary, Deputy Director, Director, Department of American and Oceanian Affairs, MFA

 

1992-1994          Served as Counsellor, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United States of America

 

1994-1998          Served as Deputy Director-General, Department of American and Oceanian Affairs, MFA


 

1998-2000          Served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of the Fiji Islands

 

2000-2003          Served as Ambassador, MFA

 

2003-2006          Served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Suriname

 

2006                   Served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Jamaica
