Vice Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi at invitation shared a working dinner with the diplomats of 14 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean on February 13, 2007. The diplomats thanked the Chinese government, Foreign Ministry and related departments for their help and support in the fulfillment of their mission in China, expressed satisfaction with the comprehensive and rapid advance of China-Latin America relations, spoke highly of the achievements of Chinese diplomacy made last year and extended best wishes on the new glory of Chinese diplomacy and progress of China-Latin America relations in the new year.

Vice Foreign Minister Yang made highly positive remarks on the new headways of China-Latin America relations last year, thanked the diplomats from Latin America and the Caribbean for their efforts and said that China would make joint efforts with countries in Latin America and the Caribbean to push for greater progress of China-Latin America relations this year.
