President Hu Jintao Appoints New Ambassadors

On June 14, 2007, President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new ambassadors in accordance with a decision made by the National People's Congress Standing Committee.

 

Zhong Jianhua was appointed the new ambassador to South Africa, replacing Liu Guijin.

 

Zhao Jun was appointed the new ambassador to Israel, replacing Chen Yonglong.

 

Yu Wenzhe was appointed the new ambassador to Ghana, replacing Zhang Keyuan.

 

Wu Yuanshan was appointed the new ambassador to Cape Verde, replacing Sun Rongmao.

 

Yue Xiaoyong was appointed the new ambassador to Qatar, replacing Li Jianying.

 

Zhang Xun was appointed the new ambassador to Mauritania, replacing Li Guoxue.

 

Li Chengwen was appointed the new ambassador to Sudan, replacing Zhang Dong.

 

Hong Jiuyin was appointed the new ambassador to Armenia, replacing Zuo Xueliang.

 

Zuo Xueliang was appointed the new ambassador to Tajikistan, replacing Li Huilai.
